Day 1 – Chandigarh to Shimla

The distance between these two is only about 112 km by road, which takes roughly 2 hours 30 minutes. You can also start from Delhi and go via Chandigarh, but that would take more than 6- 7 hours. Travelling by road is best as the views gradually change, and it allows you to understand and soak in all the beauty of nature. As you proceed towards Shimla you can plan via solan to avoid some bad route before bilaspur .
Day 2 – Explore Shimla
Shimla is one of the most popular destinations in Himachal Pradesh. There is a lot to do here, like riding the toy train, walking the mall road, paragliding, cycling, the list is endless. You cal also walk as far as you can, and lose yourself to nature. Then start cafe hopping in late afternoon.
Day 3 – Shimla to Manali
Start your day early, and head towards Manali. It should take around 6 hours by road. You could also fly from Shimla Airport to Bhuntar Airport, which is only an hour away from Manali, as that would save a lot of time. On this day in Manali, we suggest you take in the sights and sounds of this magnificent destination. It is truly breathtaking.
Day 4- Solang Valley, Beas River
Whoever comes to Manali, must visit the breathtaking Solang Valley. While the destination is truly charming, the drive up to the valley is quite an alluring one. Here in Solang Valley you can experience paragliding, skiing, horse riding, or also hire an ATV bike and experience the thrill of it all. On your way back, stop by the Beas River, and take some time to contemplate by the river. Also, the views are perfect for photography.
Day 5- Go to Kasol
If you thought Manali is beautiful, wait until you reach Kasol. It is only about a 2 hour drive away from Manali, and nature gets progressively more untamed. The beautiful destination is perfect for soul-searchers, for those who want to spend a day without the intervention of usual city life, and societal rules. Situated in the Parvati Valley, it is one of Himachal Pradesh’s crowning jewels.
Day 6 – Head back
Start early, and drive down to the Kalka Railway Station. You can catch a train to Delhi, or even towards eastern India, Howrah. On the other hand, you can even go to Shimla airport and catch a flight.
